I remember when I was a little girl and I just couldn't wait for the day that my family would drive down to the neighborhood lot to pick out our Christmas tree. We would gather around the tree usually a week before the holiday while my mother and father would bring out vintage card board boxes containing charming German glass ornaments. The ornaments were all in different shapes and sizes. Some were old and some were new. Unpacking each one was such a delight! They were cherished like jewels. They looked beautiful as they sparkled among the branches on the tree.  As a child I would imagine how some of the older ornaments might tell me stories about Christmas past. I wondered if all the ornaments would share tales with one another when the lights went out on the tree at night. These childlike feelings and fun thoughts truly motivated me to create my own Christmas ornament collection in 2006. Each ornament tells its own story and hopefully you will be able to relate them to precious moments in your own life. The beautifully adorned Christmas tree helps bring life to my spirit and my spirit grows brighter and brighter as the day approaches when we remember and celebrate the birth of Christ.
